Launching Meeting Mirage: Auto-Busy Mode for humans
Meeting Mirage started as a joke: what if we could make your calendar look so busy that nobody dared to book you? Then we realized the joke solves a very real problem—meeting fatigue—and built it like a serious product.
Presence Inflation
Our language model generates titles that sound critical to the business: “Interdepartmental Framework Calibration,” “Elastic OKR Discovery Session,” and “Leadership Deep Dive (Invite Only).” Titles adapt to your role and meeting theme so everything feels plausible.
Auto-Busy Mode
Every generated event is marked Busy with a subtle priority stripe. If someone tries to double-book, Mirage escalates with an even more important meeting. The goal: protect focus time without breaking shared calendars.
Alibi Boosting
We attach plausible Zoom links, minimal notes (“Action items redacted for compliance”), and set your Slack/Teams status to match. It’s intentionally over-serious so nobody questions it.
What’s next
We’re rolling out density controls (how saturated you want to appear) and role-based themes. If you want to try Auto-Busy Mode, register and hop into onboarding—it takes under two minutes.
